“Is any thing too hard for the Lord? …”
– Genesis 18:14a

Those who serve the Lord understand that there is ever a contest between our faith and our fears. Victory is determined not by what is present, but by what is prevailing. Faith must prevail above fear if we will see giants fall before us

Songkran is the most widely celebrated event on the Thai calendar. This yearly water festival sees Thais make small ornate rafts and place them on the river to float away symbolising the removal of sin and bad luck and the hope of good luck and prosperity in the year to come. This year during the Songkarn holidays we decided to meet with our core leaders and do an intensive time of Bible teaching. We taught on Abraham, and it was a time of great encouragement and strengthening for those who attended. We also ate together and enjoyed warm fellowship as is oft the case when the saints of the Lord gather together in His Name. We do rejoice the blood of Jesus has washed away our sins and we have no need to make rafts to float on the river.
